You may cancel your Unsloppy AI subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees, no long-term contracts, and no penalties. This policy explains how cancellation works and what happens to your account afterward.
You can cancel your subscription in two ways:
When your subscription ends, your full Ink balance enters a 30-day grace period. During this window, your balance is preserved but frozen — no new daily Ink is allocated. If you resubscribe within 30 days, your full Ink balance is restored and daily allocations resume immediately.
Your protected floor is the greater of the free-tier 36 Ink or the total Ink you have purchased through Ink Top-Ups. After the 30-day grace period, only granted Ink above that floor is permanently forfeited:
Purchased Ink is preserved.Ink you bought through an Ink Top-Up is never forfeited — it stays in your account even after you revert to the Free tier. (The free-tier 36 Ink is always preserved as well.) Generation logs associated with your account are purged 30 days after your subscription lapses.
We strongly recommend using your remaining granted Ink or resubscribing within the 30-day grace period. Granted Ink credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for currency or refunded.
Cancelling your subscription does notdelete your account or your stories. All of your creative work — stories, characters, lore, and settings — remains safely stored in your account. You can continue to access and read your stories on the Free tier. You can also re-subscribe at any time to regain full access.
If you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data, you can do so from Settings → Account. Account deletion is a separate action from subscription cancellation. See our Terms and Conditions (Section 14) for details on account deletion.
You can resubscribe to any tier at any time from your billing settings. When you resubscribe:
Annual subscriptions follow the same cancellation policy. When you cancel an annual plan, you retain access until the end of your 12-month billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining months unless you are within the 7-day satisfaction guarantee window. See our Refund Policy for full details.
