Unsloppy curates a catalog of open-weight models that already write fiction reasonably well — Hermes, Euryale, Magnum, Cydonia, Big Tiger Gemma, and a Gemma 3 free tier — and routes each draft through the model best suited to the scene at hand. Romance, fantasy, thriller, and dark fiction get a permissive model that doesn't break out of character. Continuity and revision passes get a tighter model. The model is a writing decision, not a vendor decision.
